It was also a story of transitions and shifting identities, set on an Army base trying to approximate an American experience on Italian soil, and with a central character - sometimes called Caitlin, sometimes Harper (and always played, brilliantly, by newcomer Jordan Kristine Seamón) - trying to figure out if they’re trans or not.
